The Collected Facebook Writings of Ric Fazekas edited by Fausto Chavez Years ago, I collaborated with Ric Fazekas to write his musical retrospective, originally published in 2013. Ric died in late May, 2021. The following is a collection of Ric’s Facebook posts that cover his on-goings during the years from the writing of his book to his death at the ripe age of 72. Only those posts that are relevant in light of the book’s subject–music and media–have been selected. I have edited the content for grammar and readability, and inserted links where appropriate. I wanted the collection to begin from January of 2013 but I was not able to get past May of that year (the website would crash). I am grateful that I was able to retrieve these posts as far back as I did, it took many hours of work (and many website crashes).
